User-Generated Content Policy

Reviews, comments, questions, photos and videos you post on Career Comrade must be genuine, lawful and your own; we may moderate or remove anything that breaks these rules.

1. What this covers

Reviews, testimonials, college ratings, Q&A answers, comments, forum posts, photos, videos and messages posted on our website, apps or official social pages.

2. Rules

You must not post content that:

• is false, misleading, a fake review, or written in exchange for undisclosed payment;

• is defamatory, abusive, obscene, hateful or harassing;

• reveals anyone's personal data without consent, or involves a minor inappropriately;

• infringes copyright or trademarks;

• advertises, spams, or promotes other agents or services;

• impersonates anyone, including Career Comrade staff; or

• breaks any law, including the IT Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

3. Genuine reviews

We follow the principles of the Indian Standard IS 19000:2022 on online consumer reviews. We do not write fake reviews, buy reviews, or suppress genuine negative reviews for being negative. Any review given in exchange for an incentive is labelled as such.

4. Licence to us

By posting, you give Career Comrade a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual licence to host, display, edit for length and share your content on our channels. You keep ownership. We ask separately before using your name, photo or video in advertising.

5. Moderation and removal

We may review, refuse, edit or remove content, and suspend accounts, at our discretion. To report content, email careercomradehelpdesk@gmail.com with the URL; we act on valid complaints within the time limits of the IT Rules.

6. Responsibility

You are responsible for what you post and will indemnify Career Comrade against claims arising from it. Views in user content are the author's own, not Career Comrade's.
